Frown Lines (The 11s)

The two lines between your brows.

You catch them in selfies, in the rear-view mirror, in that one unflattering Zoom angle. Two little vertical lines right between your brows that make you look tense or tired even when you feel fine. You're so not alone, these are some of the most common lines we treat, and a gentle neuromodulator can soften them for most people. No pressure, just real talk about your options.

CONCERN & CAUSES

Why the 11s Show Up

Every time you frown, squint, or concentrate, the muscles between your brows pull inward. Do that thousands of times a year and the skin on top starts to hold a crease, even when your face is relaxed. Here's what's usually going on underneath.

01

Repeated Frowning

The glabellar muscles between your brows fire every time you focus, squint, or react. Over years that constant pull etches lines into the skin, which is why the 11s often deepen with age for most people.

02

Sun & Squinting

Bright light makes you scrunch up between the brows without even noticing. Add years of sun exposure breaking down collagen, and the lines set in faster. Daily SPF and good sunglasses genuinely help.

03

Collagen Slowing Down

As we get older the skin makes less collagen and elastin, so it doesn't bounce back the way it used to. Creases that once smoothed out on their own start to stick around between the brows.

04

Static vs Dynamic Lines

Dynamic lines only appear when you move, while static lines stay put at rest. Neuromodulators work best on dynamic lines and can soften early static ones too, so timing matters and we'll talk you through it honestly.

Treatment Benefits

Gentle options for softening the 11s

Frown lines respond really well to neuromodulators for most people. Your provider checks how your glabellar muscles move first, then maps the right placement and dose so you look softened and rested, never frozen. No pressure, just a real plan that fits your face.

How to protect your results after treatment

Neuromodulators take a couple of weeks to fully settle, and a few simple habits help your results look their best and last as long as they can. Nothing complicated, just gentle care for the area while it does its thing.

Skip the Rubbing

Skip the Rubbing

For the first day, try not to rub or massage between your brows. Keeping the area still helps the neuromodulator settle exactly where your provider placed it.

Stay Upright Early On

Stay Upright Early On

For the first few hours, stay upright and skip lying down flat, hot yoga, or vigorous workouts. It's a small thing that helps everything settle nicely for most people.

Protect Daily

Protect Daily

Broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher every day keeps the skin between your brows from breaking down collagen in the sun. Good sunglasses cut down on squinting too.

Hydrate the Barrier

Hydrate the Barrier

A strong, hydrated barrier keeps your skin looking smooth and healthy between visits. Layer a hyaluronic acid serum under your moisturiser to keep things resilient.

Stay Consistent

Stay Consistent

Results wear off gradually, so spacing your top-ups before the lines come all the way back keeps them softer over time for many people. We'll help you plan the timing.

FAQ

Common questions about
frown line treatment

Yep, that's the goal. We aim for softened, not frozen. Your provider doses to your muscle movement so your 11s relax while you still look like you. If you prefer an even lighter result, just tell us and we'll adjust.

For most people a neuromodulator for the 11s lasts a few months before it gradually wears off, and results vary from person to person. We'll help you plan top-ups so the area stays soft rather than letting the lines come all the way back.

Results aren't instant. The neuromodulator takes effect over a few days and usually settles fully by around two weeks. We'll check in at that point to make sure you're happy with how things look.

Honestly, barely. We're talking a few tiny pinches in a small area. Most of our Beauty Club fam say it's way easier than they built it up in their head, and our team takes their time to keep you comfy the whole way through.

Often yes, and a lot of people like treating the upper face together for a balanced result. Your provider assesses how all those muscles move first, then recommends what makes sense for your face. No pressure to add anything.

Most people head right back to their day. You might notice tiny bumps or a little redness at the injection points that settle quickly. We'll walk you through the simple aftercare so you know exactly what to expect.
