Radiesse

Want a fresher, firmer look that builds slowly and naturally? Radiesse is a collagen-stimulating injectable that can smooth lines and add gentle support to your face, neck, or hands. It works with your own collagen, so the refresh tends to come on gradually. Quick visit, easy aftercare.

  • About 30-45 minutes
  • Results can build over a few weeks
  • Refresh tends to last many months

What Radiesse can help with

Here's where it shines

smile lines and folds

Smile lines and folds

Those lines that run from your nose to the corners of your mouth can deepen as we lose support. Adding a little structure can soften them for a lot of people.

Treatments+

We place Radiesse where the face needs gentle support, and over time it can help your own collagen build back in. For most people that means a smoother, more refreshed look that settles in gradually.

Causes+

As collagen and fat pads shift with age, the cheeks lose a little lift, so the folds around the mouth can look deeper.

Right after

Day 1 · little downtime

The visit takes about 30-45 minutes. You'll usually see an immediate bit of support where we placed the product. There might be some mild swelling or tenderness that settles over a few days. You can head back to your day, just keep it gentle on the area.

Settling in

Weeks 1-4 · the refresh evens out

Over the first few weeks any swelling settles and the result starts to look more natural. The early support softens into your features. How it settles can vary a little from person to person.

Collagen builds

Month 2-3 · the gradual glow-up

This is where the collagen-stimulating part shines. As your own collagen builds alongside the product, skin can look firmer and more refreshed for many people. We'll track your progress together.

What the Beauty Club says

A few words from our Innisfil and Barrie clients.

Natasha has completely mastered the art of combining a results-driven medical treatment without sacrificing the relaxation of a traditional facial treatment. Instead of just waiting around during masks or product activations, she uses that time to melt away every ounce of tension you are holding by adding scalp and shoulder massages. I left with glowing, deeply treated skin and my mind and body super relaxed.

Good questions

Your Radiesse questions,
answered

Everything you might be wondering before your first visit. Still curious about something? Just ask us.

Radiesse is a collagen-stimulating injectable made with calcium hydroxylapatite. It can add gentle support right away and, over time, it can help your own collagen build back in. We use it for the face, neck, and hands, depending on what you're after.

Honestly? It's pretty manageable. It's a little pinch or pressure at each point, and we can use numbing or ice to keep you comfy. Most of our clients say it's way easier than they built it up in their head. If you're nervous, just tell us and we'll go slow.

Regular hyaluronic acid filler mostly adds volume on the spot. Radiesse adds some support too, but it also stimulates your own collagen, so part of the refresh can build gradually over the following weeks. We'll talk through which one fits your goals at your consult.

You'll usually see an immediate bit of support on the day. The collagen-building part is more gradual and can keep refining over a few weeks to months for most people. Results vary, which is why we check in with you along the way.

For many people, Radiesse results last many months, and it can vary by area and by person. A lot of our clients come back to top up before it fully fades, because the firmness and refresh tend to build with consistency. We'll talk through timing that works for you.

Yes, hand rejuvenation is one of the popular uses for Radiesse. We add gentle support across the back of the hands so they can look smoother and fuller for many people, and the collagen-building part keeps working gradually. We'll assess your hands and talk through what's realistic at your consult.

It can. Radiesse can support and smooth the neck for many people, and it pairs really well with SylfirmX in our Neck Collagen Rebuild for a fuller firming effect. We'll map out the right approach for your neck at your consult.

Not much. You can usually head right back to your day. You might have some mild swelling or tenderness for a few days. We just ask you to go easy on alcohol, saunas, and intense exercise for about 24 hours and keep the area gentle so it can settle nicely.

Radiesse is a Health Canada-approved injectable that's been used for many years when it's placed by trained professionals. Our team assesses you first, reviews your health history and any allergies, and works under the medical oversight Ontario requires. We'll go over the details and any questions at your consult.

Radiesse and our Radiesse plus SylfirmX Neck Collagen Rebuild are each priced on our Jane menu. Your exact plan depends on the area and how much you need, so we'll confirm everything with you at your consult before anything starts. Beauty Club members get member pricing.

Often, yes. Lots of our clients pair Radiesse with treatments like SylfirmX or other injectables for a balanced, refreshed result. We'll map out what makes sense for you and the right order to do things, with no pressure to add anything you don't want.

That's not our style. We place Radiesse to look natural and balanced, so you look refreshed and firmer while still looking completely like you. We build slowly and check in, so nothing is rushed or overdone.

Radiesse isn't dissolvable the way hyaluronic acid filler is, so it's placed conservatively and gradually. That's exactly why we assess carefully and start subtle. We'll be honest with you at your consult about what to expect, so you can decide with full information.

Absolutely. Plenty of our clients are guys looking to refresh the face, firm the neck, or rejuvenate their hands. We personalize the plan to keep things looking natural and masculine, never overdone.

We do! Our clinic is in Innisfil, right between Barrie and the rest of Simcoe County, so we see lots of clients from Barrie, Bradford, and beyond. Easy to get to, free parking, and a warm welcome every time.

You're so welcome here. A ton of our Radiesse clients are first-timers. We take it slow, explain everything, answer every question, and only start when you feel ready. No judgment, ever.

Radiesse works well in many areas of the face, but a few things mean it may not be right for you. Please tell us if you have had a serious allergic reaction in the past, have many severe allergies, or have a bleeding condition, since these can rule Radiesse out. One thing that is specific to Radiesse is that we do not use it in the lips, because it has a higher chance of forming lumps there, so we would choose a different filler if lips are your goal. We also wait if there is an active infection or irritation at the treatment area. We will talk all of this through with you first.

Most people have only mild, short-term effects like swelling, redness, bruising, or tenderness at the injection site, and these tend to fade within a week or so. Radiesse can sometimes cause small lumps or nodules, most often if it is placed too close to the surface, which is one reason technique matters and why you want an experienced injector. As with any filler, there is a rare but serious risk of a blocked blood vessel, so if you ever notice strong or increasing pain, skin that looks pale or blotchy, or any vision changes, contact us or seek urgent care right away. We would always rather you check in than wait.
