What PRP hair restoration can help with

Here's where it shines

overall thinning hair

Overall thinning hair

If your hair feels finer all over or your ponytail isn't what it used to be, supporting the follicles you have can help things look fuller for many people over time.

Treatments+

We draw a small amount of your blood, spin it down to concentrate the platelets, and inject that PRP into the scalp. Those growth factors can encourage existing follicles to stay active. Results vary, so we'll talk through what's realistic for you.

Causes+

Genetics, hormones, stress, and age can all nudge follicles toward a finer, shorter growth cycle.

Right after

Day 1 · no real downtime

Each visit takes about 45 to 60 minutes, including the blood draw and prep. Your scalp might feel a little tender or look slightly pink at the points for a few hours, then it settles. You can head back to your day, just go easy on washing and workouts that first evening.

Shedding settles, base improves

Month 1-3 · early changes

Over the first few sessions, a lot of people notice shedding calming down and the scalp feeling healthier. Visible fullness takes longer, so this stretch is mostly about supporting the follicles. How quickly things shift can vary from person to person.

Fullness builds

Month 4-6 · gradual results

This is when many people start to see thinning areas look fuller and hair feel thicker. PRP works on hair's natural growth cycle, so patience pays off, and we'll track your progress together with photos along the way.

What the Beauty Club says

A few words from our Innisfil and Barrie clients.

Natasha has completely mastered the art of combining a results-driven medical treatment without sacrificing the relaxation of a traditional facial treatment. Instead of just waiting around during masks or product activations, she uses that time to melt away every ounce of tension you are holding by adding scalp and shoulder massages. I left with glowing, deeply treated skin and my mind and body super relaxed.

Good questions

Your PRP hair restoration questions,
answered

Everything you might be wondering before your first visit. Still curious about something? Just ask us.

Honestly? It's pretty manageable. There's a quick blood draw to start, then tiny injections across the scalp. Most of our clients say it's easier than they expected. If you're nervous, just tell us and we can use numbing or cooling to keep you comfy.

PRP works gradually because it follows your hair's natural growth cycle. A lot of people notice less shedding in the first couple of months, and visible fullness usually builds around the 4 to 6 month mark. Results vary, which is why we take progress photos along the way.

PRP works best as a short series, often spaced a few weeks apart, with maintenance after that. The exact number depends on your kind of thinning, which we'll assess at your consult. We'll always lay out your recommended plan and pricing before you start.

For many people, PRP can support existing follicles and help thinning areas look fuller over time. It works best on follicles that are still active, so it's most effective for early thinning. It's not a guaranteed regrowth fix for everyone, and we'll be honest with you about what's realistic at your consult.

PRP uses your own blood's growth factors, drawn and concentrated at your visit. Our topical exosome infusion uses Purosomes, a non-human-derived exosome authorized by Health Canada, applied to the scalp with a JetPeel to help condition and refresh it. Some clients choose to do both as separate steps. We'll suggest what fits you best.

Our PRP hair sessions and topical exosome scalp infusion are each priced on our Jane menu. Because the right plan depends on your kind of thinning, we'll confirm exactly what you need and the full cost at your consult before anything starts. We bill transparently and Beauty Club members get member pricing.

Not really. You can head right back to your day. We just ask you to skip washing your hair and hard workouts for the first few hours, and go easy on alcohol, saunas, and harsh styling products for about 24 hours so everything can settle.

PRP uses your own blood, so there's no foreign product involved, which makes reactions very uncommon. It's been used for a range of treatments for many years when done by trained professionals. Our team assesses you first and works under the medical oversight Ontario requires. We'll go over the details and any questions at your consult.

PRP tends to work best for early to moderate thinning where the follicles are still active, which is why starting sooner often gives a better response. It's less effective on areas that are fully bald. We'll assess your scalp at your consult and tell you honestly whether it's a good fit for you.

Often, yes. Lots of our clients pair PRP with our topical exosome scalp infusion as separate steps. We'll map out what makes sense for your hair and the right order to do things, with no pressure to add anything you don't want.

Absolutely. Plenty of our clients are guys dealing with a receding hairline or thinning at the crown. PRP can be a natural, no-surgery option for early pattern thinning, and we'll keep your plan personalized to you.

Hair keeps cycling, so PRP isn't a one-and-done fix. After your initial series, many people come back for occasional maintenance to help hold onto their results. We'll talk through a timing that works for you and what to expect long term.

Come hydrated and having eaten something, since we'll be doing a small blood draw. We'll go over any medications or supplements at your consult, because a few can affect how PRP works. Easy stuff, and we'll guide you through all of it.

We ask you to skip washing, colouring, and harsh styling products for the first day or so to let your scalp settle. After that, you're back to your normal routine. We'll give you simple aftercare notes to take home.

We do! Our clinic is in Innisfil, right between Barrie and the rest of Simcoe County, so we see lots of clients from Barrie, Bradford, and beyond. Easy to get to, free parking, and a warm welcome every time.

You're so welcome here. A ton of our clients are first-timers, and hair restoration is a gentle place to start. We take it slow, explain everything, answer every question, and only start when you feel ready. No judgment, ever.

PRP uses your own blood, so it suits a lot of people, but there are a few times we would pause or say no. We will ask about any bleeding or platelet conditions, and whether you take a blood thinner, since those affect how you heal. We would also wait if you have an active infection or are feeling unwell, and there are some conditions, like certain autoimmune or blood-related ones and active cancer, where PRP is not the right fit. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, we will hold off. This is why we take a proper history first. Share it openly with us and we will tell you honestly whether PRP is a good option for you right now or whether something else would serve you better.

It is normal to have some tenderness, a little swelling, and some bruising where we inject, and that usually eases over a few days. If we are treating your scalp for hair, a mild headache or a tender scalp for a day or so is common too. Because we use your own blood, an allergic reaction is very unlikely. Please reach out if anything gets worse rather than better: growing pain, spreading redness or heat, swelling that keeps building, or any sign of infection. These things are rare, and we would much rather you check in with us early so we can help.
