Cosmetic Injection

Botox Injections

Botox is the Health Canada-approved neuromodulator most people know, the friendly little injection that gently relaxes specific muscles. It can soften lines, ease jaw tension, and refresh your look, all in a quick visit with no real downtime. Priced per unit, so you only pay for what you need. Curious about Dysport instead? We offer that too.

  • About 15-20 minutes
  • Results can show in 3-7 days
  • Priced per unit, no surprises
  • No real downtime

What Botox Treats

forehead lines

Forehead lines

A little neuromodulator can soften them, so your forehead looks smoother and more rested for most people.

Treatments+

We place a Health Canada-approved neuromodulator into the muscles that crease the forehead. For most people that means softer lines while you still look like you, never frozen.

Causes+

Years of raising your brows (surprise, focus, expression) fold the skin in the same spots, and over time those folds can set in as lines.

From your visit to the refreshed payoff

Right after

Day 1 · no real downtime

The visit takes about 15-20 minutes. You might have a tiny bit of redness or small bumps at the points, which usually fade within an hour or two. You can head right back to your day, just skip a hard workout for the rest of it.

Tap to flip

It kicks in

Day 3-7 · lines soften

Over the first few days the treated muscles start to relax, so the lines or tension can ease. Most people see the full effect by about two weeks. How much it helps can vary.

Tap to flip

It gently fades

Month 3-4 · time to rebook

For most people, neuromodulator lasts around 3 to 4 months before it gradually wears off. A lot of our clients rebook before it fully fades, so their results stay smooth and consistent. We'll help you find the right timing.

Why clients choose us

Real care from a team that gets it

At Real Beauty Rx, you're looked after by an experienced team of injectors, nurses, and aestheticians who genuinely care about how you feel, not just how you look. Warm, honest, and zero judgment, every single visit.

Your treatment is performed by Jennifer Holman, NP, our owner and a Nurse Practitioner with over 14 years in medicine. She is a Key Opinion Leader for Galderma and Xcite Technologies, Chair of APANS, a lead injector-trainer for THMA, and known for her ultrasound-guided, full-face approach. You may also be cared for by our aesthetic nurse injector Lia Harding, RN. We keep it gentle, explain as we go, and never rush you.

We check how your muscles actually move before anything's planned, so your dose and placement are built around you. All treatments follow Ontario's medical oversight rules.

Our whole vibe is subtle. We want you to look softer and more refreshed, while still looking completely like you, expression and all.

Real Beauty Rx reviews

What the Beauty Club says

A few words from our Innisfil and Barrie clients.

Natasha has completely mastered the art of combining a results-driven medical treatment without sacrificing the relaxation of a traditional facial treatment. Instead of just waiting around during masks or product activations, she uses that time to melt away every ounce of tension you are holding by adding scalp and shoulder massages. I left with glowing, deeply treated skin and my mind and body super relaxed.

Good questions

Your Botox questions,
answered

Everything you might be wondering before your first visit. Still curious about something? Just ask us.

They're both Health Canada-approved neuromodulators that work in a really similar way to relax specific muscles. Botox is the name most people know and tends to stay nicely localized, while Dysport can spread a little more and some people feel it kicks in a touch faster. We offer both, so we'll chat about which one suits you best at your consult. You can also read more on our dedicated Dysport page at /treatments/injectables/dysport/.

Honestly? Barely. It's a few tiny pinches and takes about 15-20 minutes. Most of our clients say it's way easier than they built it up in their head. If you're nervous, just tell us and we can use ice or numbing to keep you comfy.

Most people start seeing results within 3 to 7 days, with the full effect by about two weeks. Results vary, which is why we like to check in with you along the way.

For most people, neuromodulator lasts around 3 to 4 months. A lot of our clients rebook before it fully wears off, because results tend to stay smoother with consistency. We'll talk through timing that works for you at every visit.

That's not our style at all. We dose conservatively and treat just the muscles that need it, so you look softer and more refreshed while still keeping your natural expressions. The goal is for you to look like a well-rested version of you, not someone else.

Neuromodulator is priced per unit, so your total depends on how many units you need across the areas you're treating. We'll always confirm your unit count and full cost at your consult before anything starts, so there are no surprises. Beauty Club members get member pricing.

It really depends on which areas you're treating and how strong those muscles are. A forehead or frown-line treatment usually needs fewer units than something like the jaw. We check all of this at your consult and confirm your exact count and cost before we begin.

Not really. You can head right back to your day. We just ask you to stay upright, skip rubbing the treated areas, and go easy on hard workouts, alcohol, and saunas for about 24 hours so the product can settle where we placed it.

Lots of them. Neuromodulator can help with forehead lines, frown lines, crow's feet, a subtle brow lift, a lip flip, and jaw clenching or TMJ tension. At your consult we'll map out which areas make the most sense for your goals.

We use Health Canada-approved neuromodulators, including Botox and Dysport, and we'll tell you exactly what we're using at your visit. Our team reviews your health history and any allergies before anything is planned.

Neuromodulators have been used safely for many years when they're placed by trained professionals. Our team assesses you first, doses conservatively, and works under the medical oversight Ontario requires. We'll go over the details and any questions at your consult.

Often, yes. Lots of our clients pair neuromodulator with filler, skin boosters, or a facial for a balanced result. We'll map out what makes sense for you and the right order to do things, with no pressure to add anything you don't want.

Absolutely. Plenty of our clients are guys treating frown lines, forehead lines, or jaw tension. We personalize the dose to keep things looking natural and masculine, never overdone.

We usually suggest holding off on makeup over the treated areas for the rest of the day, just so the little injection points can close up and you avoid rubbing the area. After that, you're good to go back to your normal routine.

We do! Our clinic is in Innisfil, right between Barrie and the rest of Simcoe County, so we see lots of clients from Barrie, Bradford, and beyond. Easy to get to, free parking, and a warm welcome every time.

You're so welcome here. A ton of our neuromodulator clients are first-timers. We take it slow, explain everything, answer every question, and only start when you feel ready. No judgment, ever.

A few people are not good candidates, and a few should simply wait. We do not treat you if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, if you have an active skin infection or breakout at the injection site, or if you have had an allergic reaction to a botulinum toxin before. If you have a nerve or muscle condition such as myasthenia gravis, Lambert-Eaton syndrome, or ALS, this treatment may not be right for you, so please tell us. One product, Dysport, is not suitable if you are allergic to cow's milk protein, but we can often use a different product instead. None of this is meant to worry you. We go through your full health history with you at your consult, and if it is not the right time, we will tell you honestly and suggest what to do instead.

Most side effects are mild and go away on their own. The common ones are a little redness, swelling, or bruising where we inject, and sometimes a mild headache, which usually settles within a few days. Because the treatment relaxes muscles, a small number of people notice a temporary droop in an eyelid or brow, or a slightly uneven result. When this happens it is almost always minor and it fades as the product wears off, usually over a few weeks. Serious reactions are rare. Please call us right away if you have trouble swallowing, speaking, or breathing, muscle weakness that spreads beyond the treated area, or any sign of an allergic reaction such as a rash, hives, or swelling. We will always walk you through what to expect and how to reach us after your visit.

It depends on the area. As a rough guide, a lip flip needs only about 4 to 6 units, forehead lines about 10 to 20, crow's feet about 12 to 24 for both sides, and frown lines about 20 to 25. Your provider confirms your exact units at your consult, and you can see typical costs on our Botox cost page.
