What under eye filler can help with

Here's where it shines

tear trough hollows

Tear trough hollows

That little groove between your under-eye and your cheek can cast a shadow that reads as tired, even when you've slept great. Softly filling it can help you look more rested.

Treatments+

We place a small amount of soft hyaluronic acid filler into the hollow so it sits more level with your cheek. For most people that means a smoother, less shadowed under-eye within a couple of weeks of settling.

Causes+

As we age, the fat pads under the eyes can shift and the skin can thin, which deepens that groove. For some people it's just how they're built.

Day 1 · see it right away

The visit takes about 30-45 minutes. You'll usually notice a difference straight away. A little swelling, redness, or minor bruising at the points is normal and tends to fade over a few days. You can head back to your day.

It settles in

Week 1-2 · the soft, final look

Over the first week or two any swelling settles and the filler integrates with your tissue, so you see your true result. For most people the under-eye looks smoother and more rested by this point. How it settles can vary from person to person.

Month 9-12 · gradual fade

Results can last around 9 to 12 months, sometimes longer, depending on your body and the product. As it gently fades, a lot of people come back for a refresh so the rested look stays consistent. We'll talk timing together.

Real care from a team that gets it

Why clients choose us

Real care from a team that gets it

At Real Beauty Rx, you're looked after by an experienced team of injectors, nurses, and aestheticians who genuinely care about how you feel, not just how you look. Warm, honest, and zero judgment, every single visit.

Your treatment is performed by Jennifer Holman, NP, our owner and a Nurse Practitioner with over 14 years in medicine. She is a Key Opinion Leader for Galderma and Xcite Technologies, Chair of APANS, a lead injector-trainer for THMA, and known for her ultrasound-guided, full-face approach. You may also be cared for by our aesthetic nurse injector Lia Harding, RN. We keep it gentle, explain as we go, and never rush you.

We figure out what's actually causing your under-eye concern before anything's planned, because filler is right for some causes and not others. We'll be honest if it's not the best fit. All treatments follow Ontario's medical oversight rules.

Our whole vibe is subtle. We want you to look rested and refreshed, while still looking completely like you, never puffy or over-filled.

What the Beauty Club says

A few words from our Innisfil and Barrie clients.

Natasha has completely mastered the art of combining a results-driven medical treatment without sacrificing the relaxation of a traditional facial treatment. Instead of just waiting around during masks or product activations, she uses that time to melt away every ounce of tension you are holding by adding scalp and shoulder massages. I left with glowing, deeply treated skin and my mind and body super relaxed.

Good questions

Your under eye filler questions,
answered

Everything you might be wondering before your first visit. Still curious about something? Just ask us.

Honestly? It's pretty manageable. We use numbing cream and can use ice to keep you comfy, and a lot of us also use a blunt cannula in this area, which many people find gentler. Most of our clients say it's easier than they expected. If you're nervous, just tell us and we'll go slow.

For most people it can last around 9 to 12 months, and sometimes longer, depending on your body, the product, and how quickly you metabolise it. A lot of our clients come back for a gentle refresh before it fully fades. We'll talk through timing that works for you.

Our Dermal Filler service is priced on our Jane menu. Your exact cost can depend on how much product the area needs, which we confirm at your consult before anything starts. We bill transparently and Beauty Club members get member pricing.

It depends what's causing them. If your dark circles come from a hollow casting a shadow, smoothing that dip can soften them a lot for many people. If they're mostly from pigment or thin skin, filler won't change that, and we'll be honest with you and suggest other options at your consult.

Hyaluronic acid filler has a long track record when it's done by trained, experienced injectors. The under-eye is a delicate area, so our team assesses you carefully first, places conservatively, and works under the medical oversight Ontario requires. We'll go over the details and any questions at your consult.

You can usually see a difference right away, though there may be some swelling at first. Over the first week or two everything settles and integrates, so you see your true, final result. Results vary, which is why we check in with you along the way.

Not much. You can head right back to your day. Some swelling, redness, or minor bruising at the injection points is normal and usually fades within a few days. We just ask you to go easy on alcohol, saunas, and intense exercise for 24 to 48 hours so everything can settle.

Not when it's done conservatively, which is our whole approach. We add a little at a time and build only as needed, so the goal is rested and refreshed rather than puffy. If you're worried about looking overdone, tell us, because subtle is exactly what we're going for.

We use a soft, hyaluronic acid filler that's chosen specifically for the delicate under-eye area, and we'll tell you exactly what we're using at your visit. Our team reviews your health history and any allergies before anything is planned.

One of the nice things about hyaluronic acid filler is that it can be dissolved with an enzyme if you're ever unhappy or it doesn't settle the way we'd like. It's not common to need it, but it's reassuring to know it's an option. We'll talk through this at your consult.

Filler adds volume to smooth a hollow, so it's great for shadow and structure. PRP uses your own platelet-rich plasma to support skin quality and can help with texture and tone over time. Some people do one, some do both. Your provider will recommend what fits your concern at your consult.

A lot of people are, especially if your concern is a hollow or a shadow under the eye. It's not the right call for everyone though, like if you have a lot of puffiness or fluid retention in the area. That's exactly what your consult is for, so we can give you an honest answer.

Often, yes. Lots of our clients pair under eye filler with cheek filler, a skin treatment, or PRP for a balanced, rested result. We'll map out what makes sense for you and the right order to do things, with no pressure to add anything you don't want.

Absolutely. Plenty of our clients are guys who just want to look less tired. We personalize the placement to keep things looking natural and refreshed, never overdone.

We do! Our clinic is in Innisfil, right between Barrie and the rest of Simcoe County, so we see lots of clients from Barrie, Bradford, and beyond. Easy to get to, free parking, and a warm welcome every time.

You're so welcome here. A ton of our under eye filler clients are first-timers. We take it slow, explain everything, answer every question, and only start when you feel ready. No judgment, ever.

Yes, and we go through this with you before we ever treat. It is best to wait or skip filler if you have an active breakout, cold sore, rash, or any infection right where we would inject, since we want the skin calm and healthy first. Please tell us if you have had a serious allergic reaction (anaphylaxis) in the past, if you are allergic to lidocaine, or if you have a bleeding condition, because these mean filler may not be right for you. If you take blood thinners or supplements like fish oil, let us know, since we may adjust timing to lower your chance of bruising. We also usually wait if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. None of this is a problem to bring up. It just helps us keep you safe and get you a nice result.

Most side effects are mild and settle on their own. It is normal to have some swelling, redness, tenderness, bruising, or small bumps at the injection site for a few days, and lips can stay puffy a little longer. There are rare but serious risks we want you to know about honestly. The one we watch most closely is a blocked blood vessel, which can happen if filler affects blood flow. The warning signs are unusual, strong, or increasing pain, skin that turns pale or blotchy or dusky, or any change in your vision. If you ever notice those signs, whether you are still with us or already home, contact us right away or seek urgent care, because acting quickly matters a lot. Rarely, people can also get an infection or firm lumps that show up weeks later, and we are always here to check anything that does not feel right.
