PRP Under Eye

PRP stands for platelet-rich plasma. We take a small sample of your own blood, spin it to concentrate the platelets and growth factors, and then place that plasma back into the under-eye area. Because it comes from you, a lot of people love how natural it feels.

Honestly? It's pretty manageable. The blood draw is like a regular blood test, and the placement is a few tiny pinches. The under-eye is delicate, so if you're nervous, just tell us and we can use numbing cream to keep you comfy.

Not much. You might have some redness, puffiness, or tiny bruising under the eyes for a few days, since it's a delicate area. We ask you to skip makeup over the area, intense workouts, and saunas for about 24 hours so things can settle.

PRP uses your own blood, so it suits a lot of people, but there are a few times we would pause or say no. We will ask about any bleeding or platelet conditions, and whether you take a blood thinner, since those affect how you heal. We would also wait if you have an active infection or are feeling unwell, and there are some conditions, like certain autoimmune or blood-related ones and active cancer, where PRP is not the right fit. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, we will hold off. This is why we take a proper history first. Share it openly with us and we will tell you honestly whether PRP is a good option for you right now or whether something else would serve you better.
