It is best to wait or skip filler if you have an active breakout, cold sore, rash, or any infection right where we would inject, since we want the skin calm and healthy first. Please tell us if you have had a serious allergic reaction (anaphylaxis) in the past, if you are allergic to lidocaine, or if you have a bleeding condition, because these mean filler may not be right for you. If you take blood thinners or supplements like fish oil, let us know, since we may adjust timing to lower your chance of bruising. We also usually wait if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. None of this is a problem to bring up. It just helps us keep you safe and get you a nice result.
