What dermal filler can help with

Here's where it shines

flat or hollow cheeks

Flat or hollow cheeks

If your cheeks feel flatter than they used to, a little filler can gently lift and restore that soft fullness. For most people it looks like a fresher, more rested version of you.

Treatments+

We place a hyaluronic acid filler into the cheek area to add subtle support and volume. Results vary, but many people see a softer, lifted look right away that settles in over a week or two.

Causes+

We naturally lose facial volume and fat pads as we age, which can leave the cheeks looking flatter or a little hollow over time.

Right after

Day 1 · see it right away

The visit takes about 30-45 minutes. You can usually see added volume right away. A little redness, swelling, or small bruising at the points is normal and tends to fade over a few days.

Tap to flip

Settling in

Week 1-2 · the final look

Over the first week or two the swelling eases and the filler softens into place, so you see your true, settled result. Many people find this is when it looks its most natural.

How long it lasts

Month 6-12 · gradual fade

Hyaluronic acid filler is gradually broken down by your body, so results typically last around 6 to 12 months depending on the area and the product. How long it lasts can vary from person to person, and we'll plan your top-ups together.

Real care from a team that gets it

Why clients choose us

Real care from a team that gets it

At Real Beauty Rx, you're looked after by an experienced team of injectors, nurses, and aestheticians who genuinely care about how you feel, not just how you look. Warm, honest, and zero judgment, every single visit.

Your treatment is performed by Jennifer Holman, NP, our owner and a Nurse Practitioner with over 14 years in medicine. She is a Key Opinion Leader for Galderma and Xcite Technologies, Chair of APANS, a lead injector-trainer for THMA, and known for her ultrasound-guided, full-face approach. You may also be cared for by our aesthetic nurse injector Lia Harding, RN. We keep it gentle, explain as we go, and never rush you.

We assess your facial structure and where you've actually lost volume before anything's planned, so your filler is built around your features. All treatments follow Ontario's medical oversight rules.

Our whole vibe is subtle. We want you to look refreshed and balanced, while still looking completely like you, never overfilled.

Real Beauty Rx reviews

What the Beauty Club says

A few words from our Innisfil and Barrie clients.

Natasha has completely mastered the art of combining a results-driven medical treatment without sacrificing the relaxation of a traditional facial treatment. Instead of just waiting around during masks or product activations, she uses that time to melt away every ounce of tension you are holding by adding scalp and shoulder massages. I left with glowing, deeply treated skin and my mind and body super relaxed.

Good questions

Your dermal filler questions,
answered

Everything you might be wondering before your first visit. Still curious about something? Just ask us.

It's pretty comfortable. Most fillers have a numbing agent built right in, and we can also use ice or topical numbing. You might feel a little pinch or pressure as we place it, and the visit usually takes about 30-45 minutes. If you're nervous, just tell us and we'll keep you comfy.

Our dermal filler treatment is priced on our Jane menu. Your final plan can depend on how many areas you'd like to address and how much product they need, so we'll confirm everything clearly at your consult before we start. Beauty Club members get member pricing.

For most people, hyaluronic acid filler lasts around 6 to 12 months, depending on the area treated and the product used. Areas with more movement tend to fade a little faster. Results vary, so we'll plan your refresh timing together.

Our dermal fillers are made of hyaluronic acid, a substance that's naturally found in your skin and helps it hold moisture and volume. We use Health Canada-approved products and we'll tell you exactly what we're using at your visit.

That's our whole approach. We place filler conservatively and balance it across your face so the result looks like a fresher version of you, not overfilled. Your provider assesses your features first and plans placement around what looks natural for you.

Not much. You might have some redness, swelling, or small bruising at the points, which usually settles over a few days. We just ask you to skip hard workouts, alcohol, and saunas for about 24 hours so the filler can settle nicely.

You can usually see added volume right away. The final, settled look tends to show after the swelling eases over the first week or two. We check in around two weeks once everything has settled to make sure you're happy with how it looks.

Yes, one of the nice things about hyaluronic acid filler is that it can be dissolved with a special enzyme if you ever want to adjust or dissolve it. It's rarely needed when filler is placed conservatively, but it's reassuring to know the option is there. Ask us about our filler dissolving service.

Hyaluronic acid filler is really versatile. We commonly treat cheeks, jawline, chin, smile lines, and under-eye hollows, plus lips with our lip filler service. At your consult your provider will recommend the areas that will give you the most balanced, natural result.

Hyaluronic acid fillers have been used safely for many years when they're placed by trained professionals. Our team assesses you first, reviews your health history, uses Health Canada-approved products, and works under the medical oversight Ontario requires. We'll go over the details and any questions at your consult.

Hyaluronic acid filler adds volume right away and can be dissolved. Sculptra and Radiesse are collagen stimulators that work more gradually by helping your skin build its own support over time. They suit different goals, so we'll talk through which option fits you best at your consult.

Often, yes. Lots of our clients pair filler with a neuromodulator or a skin treatment for a balanced refresh. We'll map out what makes sense for you and the right order to do things, with no pressure to add anything you don't want.

Most filler visits take about 30-45 minutes, including time to chat, assess, and answer your questions. We never rush you, so you can ask anything you're wondering about before we start.

Absolutely. Plenty of our clients are guys looking to refresh their cheeks, define their jawline, or balance their profile. We personalize the placement to keep things looking natural and masculine, never overdone.

We do! Our clinic is in Innisfil, right between Barrie and the rest of Simcoe County, so we see lots of clients from Barrie, Bradford, and beyond. Easy to get to, free parking, and a warm welcome every time.

You're so welcome here. A ton of our dermal filler clients are first-timers. We take it slow, explain everything, start conservatively, and only begin when you feel ready. No judgment, ever.

Yes, and we go through this with you before we ever treat. It is best to wait or skip filler if you have an active breakout, cold sore, rash, or any infection right where we would inject, since we want the skin calm and healthy first. Please tell us if you have had a serious allergic reaction (anaphylaxis) in the past, if you are allergic to lidocaine, or if you have a bleeding condition, because these mean filler may not be right for you. If you take blood thinners or supplements like fish oil, let us know, since we may adjust timing to lower your chance of bruising. We also usually wait if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. None of this is a problem to bring up. It just helps us keep you safe and get you a nice result.

Most side effects are mild and settle on their own. It is normal to have some swelling, redness, tenderness, bruising, or small bumps at the injection site for a few days, and lips can stay puffy a little longer. There are rare but serious risks we want you to know about honestly. The one we watch most closely is a blocked blood vessel, which can happen if filler affects blood flow. The warning signs are unusual, strong, or increasing pain, skin that turns pale or blotchy or dusky, or any change in your vision. If you ever notice those signs, whether you are still with us or already home, contact us right away or seek urgent care, because acting quickly matters a lot. Rarely, people can also get an infection or firm lumps that show up weeks later, and we are always here to check anything that does not feel right.
