What Skin Boosters can help with

Here's where they shine

dull tired looking skin

Dull, tired-looking skin

If your skin's lost that bounce and looks a bit flat, deep hydration can help it look fresher and more alive for a lot of people.

Treatments+

We place hyaluronic acid just beneath the surface so your skin can hold more water. For most people that means a softer, more dewy look that builds over a few weeks.

Causes+

Age, sun, busy schedules, and not enough water all chip away at how much moisture your skin can hold onto.

Day 1 · barely any downtime

The visit takes about 30-45 minutes. You might see tiny bumps or a little redness at the injection points, which usually settle within a day or so. You can head back to your day, just skip heavy makeup and a hard workout for the rest of it.

Hydration settles

Week 1-2 · skin drinks it in

Over the first week or two the hyaluronic acid settles and starts drawing in moisture, so a lot of people notice their skin feeling plumper and more comfortable. How much it helps can vary from person to person.

Glow builds

Month 1-2 · fresh and dewy

The glow is the slow-burn part. As the hydration works through your skin over a few weeks, the surface can look fresher, smoother, and more dewy. We'll track your progress together and plan your next session.

Real care from a team that gets it

Why clients choose us

Real care from a team that gets it

At Real Beauty Rx, you're looked after by an experienced team of injectors, nurses, and aestheticians who genuinely care about how you feel, not just how you look. Warm, honest, and zero judgment, every single visit.

Your treatment is performed by Jennifer Holman, NP, our owner and a Nurse Practitioner with over 14 years in medicine. She is a Key Opinion Leader for Galderma and Xcite Technologies, Chair of APANS, a lead injector-trainer for THMA, and known for her ultrasound-guided, full-face approach. You may also be cared for by our aesthetic nurse injector Lia Harding, RN. We keep it gentle, explain as we go, and never rush you.

We check how your skin is actually doing and where it needs hydration most before anything's planned, so your treatment is built around you. All treatments follow Ontario's medical oversight rules.

Our whole vibe is subtle. We want your skin to look fresh and dewy, while still looking completely like you, never plastic or tight.

What the Beauty Club says

A few words from our Innisfil and Barrie clients.

Natasha has completely mastered the art of combining a results-driven medical treatment without sacrificing the relaxation of a traditional facial treatment. Instead of just waiting around during masks or product activations, she uses that time to melt away every ounce of tension you are holding by adding scalp and shoulder massages. I left with glowing, deeply treated skin and my mind and body super relaxed.

Good questions

Your Skin Boosters questions,
answered

Everything you might be wondering before your first visit. Still curious about something? Just ask us.

Honestly? They're very manageable. It's a series of tiny pinches across the area and usually takes about 30-45 minutes. If you're nervous, just tell us and we can use numbing cream to keep you comfy. Most of our clients say it's easier than they expected.

Great question. Filler is placed to add volume and change shape, like plumping lips or cheeks. Skin Boosters are all about hydration. We deliver hyaluronic acid just beneath the surface so your skin can hold more water and look fresher. They won't change your shape, they can just help your skin look more dewy and healthy for most people.

The hydration usually starts settling within 1 to 2 weeks, and the glow keeps building over the following few weeks. Results vary, which is why we check in with you along the way.

For most people, the results last around 4 to 6 months, depending on your skin and your routine. A lot of our clients do an initial series and then top up now and then, because the hydration and glow tend to build with consistency. We'll talk through timing that works for you.

Skin Boosters often work best as a little series to start, then occasional top-ups. The exact number depends on your skin, which we check at your consult. We'll always map out a plan and confirm the cost before we start, so there are no surprises.

Each Skin Boosters session at Real Beauty Rx is injectable hydration with two syringes, priced per session on our Jane menu. We'll confirm everything with you before we begin, and your provider will walk you through what to expect.

Not much. You can head right back to your day. You might see tiny bumps or a little redness at the injection points, which usually settle within a day or so. We just ask you to skip heavy makeup, alcohol, saunas, and hard workouts for about 24 hours so your skin can settle.

It's common to see small bumps right after treatment, since we're placing little droplets of hydration just under the surface. For most people they smooth out within a day or two as the product settles. We go over all of this with you so you know exactly what to expect.

They're popular for the cheeks, around the eyes, the neck, and the backs of the hands, anywhere skin tends to look dry or dull. At your consult we'll figure out which areas would benefit most for you.

We use a Health Canada-approved hyaluronic-acid injectable made for skin hydration, and we'll tell you exactly what we're using at your visit. Our team reviews your health history and any allergies before anything is planned.

Hyaluronic-acid injectables have been used safely for many years when they're done by trained professionals. Our team assesses your skin first, works conservatively, and treats under the medical oversight Ontario requires. We'll go over the details and any questions at your consult.

Often, yes. Lots of our clients pair Skin Boosters with treatments like SylfirmX or a facial for an all-round glow. We'll map out what makes sense for you and the right order to do things, with no pressure to add anything you don't want.

Absolutely. Plenty of our clients are guys who just want healthier, more hydrated skin. We keep the result natural and fresh, never overdone.

Our injectable hydration with Skin Boosters is priced per session and includes two syringes. We bill transparently and Beauty Club members get member pricing. If your plan needs a series, we'll map out the full cost at your consult, in writing, before anything starts.

We do! Our clinic is in Innisfil, right between Barrie and the rest of Simcoe County, so we see lots of clients from Barrie, Bradford, and beyond. Easy to get to, free parking, and a warm welcome every time.

You're so welcome here. A ton of our Skin Boosters clients are first-timers. We take it slow, explain everything, answer every question, and only start when you feel ready. No judgment, ever.

Yes, and we go through this with you before we ever treat. It is best to wait or skip filler if you have an active breakout, cold sore, rash, or any infection right where we would inject, since we want the skin calm and healthy first. Please tell us if you have had a serious allergic reaction (anaphylaxis) in the past, if you are allergic to lidocaine, or if you have a bleeding condition, because these mean filler may not be right for you. If you take blood thinners or supplements like fish oil, let us know, since we may adjust timing to lower your chance of bruising. We also usually wait if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. None of this is a problem to bring up. It just helps us keep you safe and get you a nice result.

Most side effects are mild and settle on their own. It is normal to have some swelling, redness, tenderness, bruising, or small bumps at the injection site for a few days, and lips can stay puffy a little longer. There are rare but serious risks we want you to know about honestly. The one we watch most closely is a blocked blood vessel, which can happen if filler affects blood flow. The warning signs are unusual, strong, or increasing pain, skin that turns pale or blotchy or dusky, or any change in your vision. If you ever notice those signs, whether you are still with us or already home, contact us right away or seek urgent care, because acting quickly matters a lot. Rarely, people can also get an infection or firm lumps that show up weeks later, and we are always here to check anything that does not feel right.
