What SylfirmX eye can help with

Here's where it shines

hooded heavy upper eyelids

Hooded or heavy upper lids

If your upper lids feel a little heavier than they used to, or your eyeshadow keeps disappearing into a fold, that's hooding. Firming the skin up top can help the eyes look more open for some people.

Treatments+

Our non-surgical blepharoplasty uses SylfirmX radiofrequency microneedling on the upper-lid skin to gently encourage collagen. For most people that can mean a firmer, lifted-looking lid over a few weeks, no surgery needed.

Causes+

Skin naturally loses firmness with age, and the thin eyelid skin tends to show it first. Genetics and sun exposure can speed it up.

Right after

Day 1-3 · light redness

The treatment takes about 45-60 minutes with numbing cream on first. Afterward you might have some redness, mild warmth, or slight puffiness around the eyes that usually settles within a day or two. Most people are comfortable heading out the same day.

Skin starts firming

Week 2-4 · collagen building

As your skin builds new collagen, a lot of people start to notice firmer, smoother-looking eye-area skin over the first few weeks. It's a gradual change rather than an overnight one, and how much you see can vary.

Fuller results settle

Month 2-3 · refreshed look

Collagen keeps remodelling for a couple of months, so the firming and texture improvements tend to keep building, especially across a short series. We'll track your progress together and plan any maintenance.

Why clients choose us

Real care from a team that gets it

At Real Beauty Rx, you're looked after by an experienced team of injectors, nurses, and aestheticians who genuinely care about how you feel, not just how you look. Warm, honest, and zero judgment, every single visit.

Your treatment is performed by Natasha Grbesa, our Clinic Lead, Medical Aesthetician, and Certified Laser Technician, under the medical oversight of Jennifer Holman, NP. Jennifer is a Key Opinion Leader for Galderma and Xcite Technologies and Chair of APANS, with over 14 years in medicine. Your treatment is done by experienced providers who personalize the device settings for thin, delicate skin and keep you comfortable throughout.

We look closely at your eye-area skin and what's actually going on before we plan a single session, so your series is built around you. All treatments follow Ontario's medical oversight rules.

Our whole vibe is subtle. We want your eyes to look fresher and firmer, while still looking completely like you, never frozen or worked-on.

What the Beauty Club says

A few words from our Innisfil and Barrie clients.

Natasha has completely mastered the art of combining a results-driven medical treatment without sacrificing the relaxation of a traditional facial treatment. Instead of just waiting around during masks or product activations, she uses that time to melt away every ounce of tension you are holding by adding scalp and shoulder massages. I left with glowing, deeply treated skin and my mind and body super relaxed.

Good questions

Your SylfirmX eye questions,
answered

Everything you might be wondering before your first visit. Still curious about something? Just ask us.

It's a way to firm up the upper-eyelid skin without surgery. Instead of a scalpel, we use SylfirmX radiofrequency microneedling to encourage your own collagen, so the lid skin can look firmer and a little more lifted over time for many people. It won't replace surgery for everyone, and we'll be honest at your consult about whether it suits you.

We numb the area well first, so most people find it very manageable. You'll usually feel a warm, prickly sensation while we work. If you're nervous, just tell us. Our team takes their time and keeps you comfortable the whole way through.

A lot of people start to notice firmer, smoother-looking skin over the first few weeks as collagen builds, with fuller results settling over a couple of months. It's a gradual change rather than an overnight one, and results vary from person to person.

SylfirmX usually works best as a short series spaced a few weeks apart, then occasional maintenance. The exact number depends on your skin and your goals, which we go over at your consult so you know what to expect before you start.

Because SylfirmX builds your own collagen, results can last a good while for many people, though skin keeps ageing naturally over time. Most clients keep things looking their best with occasional maintenance sessions. We'll map out a timeline that works for you.

Our SylfirmX Eye Treatment and the upper-eyelid non-surgical blepharoplasty are each priced on our Jane menu. Your exact plan depends on your skin and how many sessions make sense, so we'll confirm everything clearly at your consult before anything starts. Beauty Club members get member pricing.

Not much. You might have some redness, mild warmth, or slight puffiness for a day or two that settles on its own. We'll ask you to skip makeup on the area for a day, wear SPF, and hold off on saunas and intense workouts briefly so your skin can recover.

When it's done by trained professionals with the right settings and eye protection, radiofrequency microneedling has a well-established safety record for the delicate eye area. Our team assesses you first, personalizes the treatment to your skin, and works under the medical oversight Ontario requires.

They're both radiofrequency microneedling devices, but no, we use SylfirmX, not Morpheus8. SylfirmX has features we love for delicate areas like the eyes. We'll walk you through how it works and why we use it at your visit.

For a lot of people, yes, it can help firm and smooth crepey under-eye skin over a series. How much you'll see depends on your skin to start with, so we'll be honest about what's realistic for you at your consult.

SylfirmX works mainly on skin quality and firmness, so it can help texture and crepiness. Puffiness and dark circles often have other causes, like fluid or pigment, that may need a different approach. We'll assess what's going on and recommend the right plan for you, which sometimes pairs treatments.

Often, yes. Lots of our clients pair SylfirmX with under-eye filler for volume or a neuromodulator for movement lines, depending on what's bothering them. We'll map out what makes sense for you and the right order to do things, with no pressure to add anything you don't want.

We'll give you the full rundown at booking, but in general we ask you to pause strong actives like retinol for a few days beforehand, avoid sunburn, and come in with clean skin. Let us know about any medications or recent treatments so we can plan safely.

SylfirmX isn't right for everyone. If you're pregnant or breastfeeding, have certain skin conditions or an active infection in the area, or have specific medical history, it may not be suitable. That's exactly what your consult is for, so we can check and keep you safe.

We do! Our clinic is in Innisfil, right between Barrie and the rest of Simcoe County, so we see lots of clients from Barrie, Bradford, and beyond. Easy to get to, free parking, and a warm welcome every time.

You're so welcome here. A ton of our SylfirmX clients are first-timers. We take it slow, explain everything, answer every question, and only start when you feel ready. No judgment, ever.

Yes, and we go through this with you before we book. It is best to wait if you have an active breakout, a cold sore, an open area, or any infection where we would be treating, until your skin has settled. We also ask about a few things in your history: keloid or raised scars, eczema or psoriasis in the area, and whether you have taken Accutane recently, since your skin needs time to heal well first. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, we will hold off for now. Because our Sylfirm X uses radiofrequency energy, we cannot treat over a pacemaker or another implanted electronic device, or over metal implants in the treatment area. None of this rules you out for good in most cases. Tell us your full picture and we will let you know if now is the right time or if a short wait is safer for you.

For most people the treated skin looks a little pink and feels warm, a bit like a mild sunburn, and there can be some light swelling. That usually calms down within a day or two, and many people go back to their normal day right away. Some flaking, dryness, or the odd small breakout as your skin renews is normal too. If you have a deeper skin tone, there is a chance of some darkening in the treated spots, so sun protection afterward really matters, and we will talk you through it. Please call us if you notice anything that does not feel right: redness or pain that is getting worse instead of better, spreading heat or swelling, blistering, weeping, signs of infection, or a cold sore starting. We would always rather hear from you and check in than have you wait and wonder.
